The FAMEX 5512 Ryoba Japanese saw is designed for fine work. Both sides of the saw are identically toothed (22 teeth per inch), making it perfect for delicate tasks such as working on instruments, picture frames, model building, and more! The extremely thin and flexible blade allows for flush cuts with ease.
The Pull-Cut System
Unlike Western saws, the Ryoba Mini operates on a pull stroke. The advantage is that much less force is needed, and the saw is easier to control. This results in precise and straight cuts without any blade twisting. Flush cuts are also possible with this Japanese saw.
The Blade
The blade of the Ryoba saw is thinner and more flexible compared to conventional saws. The thin blade enables very clean, fast, and efficient cuts. Flush cuts are no challenge for the Ryoba Mini. The blade is made from high-quality carbon steel, ensuring longer durability, and both sides have identical tooth configurations.
Special Tooth Design
The "SHARK" tooth design features three extremely sharp cutting edges. The teeth are diamond-ground to reduce the likelihood of frayed edges. The precise and clean cuts ensure that post-processing of the workpiece is greatly reduced or even unnecessary. The saw has identical teeth on both sides, with 22 teeth per inch for very fine cutting.
